Summer holidays are about to end and beginning of new academic year is around the corner in the SRM University,NCR Campus. The results have already been announced last week and pass percentage have been quite high in this semester,students themselves are quite satisfied with the result with a few exceptions.
I myself got 7.8 aggregate in this semester which is a gain from my past 7.2 in first semester.
                            Majority of the students including myself  are praying for college to reopen as the summer holidays have become very boring for all of us. And college authorities have issued a notice on their site that the college is reopening from 9th of July.In schools when our new academic year would start we would be disappointed but now things have changed after coming to college we are looking forward to reopening of college. For the new academic year the college have also issued hostel list for boys,some of u might be thinking why a hostel list for second year students.Its because my college does not have enough infrastructure to accommodate all the students who were in given hostel accommodation in first year.
                         There is history in SRM University, NCR Campus that in the beginning of new academic year students are surprised by finding a new floor on building or completely a new building out of nowhere.Lets see what we get this year.

Summer Holidays:Year end in SRM University

Summer Holidays had started in SRM University on 15th of May marking the beginning of two months long holidays, for which the University students were waiting for a long time. Its a real advantage in this University that the students are given proper year end holidays so that they can relax and join different diploma and physical activity according to their choice.
Well for first year has ended for me and looking back at my whole academic year, I think it went too fast not only for me but for all of my batch mates. Like other srmites I am also looking for diploma courses in embedded c language since I am an electronics students.
I have already mentioned in older post that my college has a weak infrastructure so the college authorities has decided to renovate the whole college in these two months of academic holidays. The college is getting now its first a.c hostel, construction has been going on. The college is also renovating its workshop lab,installing new instruments in automobile lab. The whole administrative block is under renovation with new offices being made.
Well the summer holidays are considered to be the best part of the SRM University.

SRM UNIVERSITY,NCR CAMPUS

SRM University,NCR Campus is situated on NH-58 (Delhi Meerut Highway).It is approximately 35km, from Delhi and the nearest metro station is Vaishali which is almost 50 mins. journey from the campus. Although SRM University states in its brochure that is located very near to Delhi but the fact is that it is located quite outskirts of even Ghaziabad Dist. It is approx. located  20 km.from Ghaziabad  city. 

I took the admission last year here in B.tech course in Electronics and Communication branch. I took admission here because it was the best option available to me at that time, but after a year my opinion is changed to that it was the worst option.Although the main campus of SRM University has built a really good reputation regarding academics and infrastructure but the NCR campus lacks a great deal of basic facilities.The infrastructure is not really good of this campus,I would recommend the newcomers who will come for counseling this year to not to judge the infrastructure just by the front face of building.

The quality of studies in this campus are not even close to the standards of Chennai Campus, although some faculties have been appointed from Chennai to this campus. The main advantage is that the placement is 100% for sure and the University arrange the placements of the students of this campus from Chennai 

campus too.
